Objectives

The mission of the Program is to support high-potential HR managers and professionals in developing the necessary competences to strengthen the strategic and leadership role of HR.
The Master emphasizes the close relationship between HR management and strategy, within an international setting which draws upon cutting-edge research and practice to develop methodologies and tools.
The objectives of the program are the following:

• To increase individual knowledge and expertise through the discussion of HR strategies, models, methods and techniques;
• To develop problem-solving skills, through the discussion of cases and real accounts of corporate HR situations and decisions;
• To strengthen people management skills through teaching methods based on group work, case discussions, in-company activities, guest speakers and corporate testimonials.
• To pursue a hands-on learning experience, by immediately applying concepts and tools to the reality of one’s organizations through individual assignments.

Contents

The program begins on February 2016 and ends in November 2016 with the graduation ceremony.

The program requires a total of 38 days of face-to-face learning, designed around eight modules 4-5 day long. In order to measure knowledge and learning outcomes against everyday company practice and issues, participants also engage in one individual project for approximately 10 days of distance learning work and assessments of each covered topic at the beginning of the following module.

The modular approach, coupled with in-depth individual and team-based work, allows for a full immersion in class discussion while maintaining continuous contact with organizations.
The coaching individual sessions will accompany participants personal development throughout the Program.

Student Profile

The Executive Master is aimed at managers and professionals with experience in HR or related functions, or managers and professionals with a background in other functions, all in the process oftaking on a role of increased responsibility in the HR function.The Master is aimed at high-potential HR managers and professionals willing to engage in a demanding program to align their profiles with the strategic challenges faced by future leaders in HR in the global competitive arena.Candidates must be highly motivated and committed to excellence, complementing intelligence and business acumen with enthusiasm and creativity.The program is aimed at leading-edge companies willing to sponsor high-potential candidates toward strategic positions in Human Resource management.

Requirements

The selection process is aimed at ensuring individual candidates’ coherence with the aim of the Master and its class composition.

Admission requirements:

• Relevant work experience in Human Resource Management or related functions
• A graduate degree in any discipline
• Fluency in English (self-assessed)

Tuition Fees/Expenses

The fee is 36.000 €, to be paid in four instalments.

The tuition fee includes teaching and tutoring, business lunches and breaks, all materials, access to Bocconi University Library and the use of all School’s support facilities. Participants could benefit from SDA Bocconi privileged agreements with Hotels for accommodation.
