Throughout this week, the University of Westminster’s Student Union (UWSU) has been welcoming newly enrolled students to the University with fun packed Freshers’ Fairs held at all four campuses.
With the presence of an array of USWU societies including the UWSU’s Smoke Media, the Westminster Dragons Men’s Basketball and Women’s Netball teams, the LGBTI Society, the Biochemistry Society, the Westminster Abroad team, the Nutrition Society and many more, all four of the fairs proved a great success.
The Cavendish, Regent Street, Harrow and Marylebone campuses also welcomed well-known names to their Freshers’ Fairs including Nando’s, Leon, Transport for London, Virgin Active, Match Solicitors, on-demand staffing platform Coople, Homes for Students, CALM, Deliveroo and the London Business School, who showered our Freshers with freebies.
Students had the chance to win prizes such as iPhone chargers, food vouchers, stationary, health and beauty products, and were also able to take home a range of free giveaways.
Freshers 2016 will continue throughout September, coming to an end with the grand Freshers’ Ball at Café de Paris on Friday 30 September.
