To guarantee the best quality of learning we need you and the other participants to have a good educational background and a certain professional experience. For this reason the participation requirements and selection criteria for the MFB are rigorous and demanding.
You are required to have:
- A university degree in any discipline.
- Two years professional experience with an international profile.
- Fluency in English. If your mother tongue is not English you are required to submit a TOEFL, IELTS, PTE Academic or CPE result
- Italian language instruction. Although the program is conducted mostly in English, if you are not fluent in Italian it is highly recommended that you take the Italian course for beginners during the program.
- SDA test. Details on the SDA test will be communicated by Admissions Service once the pre-selection is complete.
- An interview with the program director either in Milano at SDA Bocconi, or remotely by phone or Skype.

How to Apply
Fill out and submit the online application through our website bt October 5th, 2021 and upload all required documents to the specific section of your application.
Admission Process
The application is available exclusively online and must be completed in English.
You may verify the arrival of your application and confirm that all the documentation has been received through our application website.
Applications are examined on a rolling basis and, given the high number of applications, those received much in advance of the deadline have a greater chance of being admitted. Therefore, it is in your best interest to submit your application as early as possible.
When we receive your application, we carry out a pre-selection based on the documents sent. The Admissions Committee lets you know if you are considered suitable to proceed with the selection process.
If so, you will be required to have an interview, which may be held at SDA Bocconi in Milano or remotely (via webcam). Candidates are carefully selected on the basis of an extensive review of their skills. Individual characteristics and personal interests are fundamental to give us an idea of who you are as a person: involvement, enthusiasm, flexibility, motivation, and focus are all factors in selecting you.
The final result will be communicated once the application is complete, which means all documents must have been received and tests completed.
Scholarships & Tuition Waivers
Each year, SDA Bocconi offers a number of scholarships and tuition waivers.
Scholarships & tuition waivers are awarded on the basis of merit to candidates with an outstanding profile. Admission to the program is independent of the awarding of any scholarship or tuition waiver.
For the MFB 2022, 4 partial tuition waivers are available.
You can apply to the scholarships/tuition waivers even though your selection process is still in progress.
Loans and Funding
The School assists candidates with their search for funding by supplying the necessary documentation and encouraging them to explore all scholarship and loan possibilities. SDA Bocconi provides opportunities for low-interest loans to admitted students (International students, Italian students), thanks to agreements with partner banks. Loan applications must be submitted by the end of month that follows your Master starting date.
Furthermore, the University provides international students with information about possible sources for financing in several countries.
